Abstract | This research aimed to 1) analysis and design the architecture of computer operation leasing system with cloud computing technology, and 2) evaluate the efficiency of the architecture of computer operation leasing system with cloud computing technology by system user. The research methodology was mixed methodology including qualitative methodology using design thinking in the term of the double diamond design process for system architecture analysis and design, and quantitative methodology that applied for evaluating the efficiency of the system architecture. Triangulation had confirmed the authenticity of this architecture. In the design thinking method, in-depth interviews with twenty key informants were used together with document analysis. In addition, the efficiency of system architecture evaluated by twenty technology experts using specific sampling. Moreover, the statistics used in data analysis were mean and standard deviation. The research results were as following: 1) the architecture of the computer operation leasing system with cloud computing technology divided into two parts. First, the service provider handled all processing and acted as an intermediary in managing the leasing service to the users. The basic components of cloud services included security, data center, network, physical server, virtualization, operating system, database, application, and data. Second, the user used the services through Software-as-a-Service by charging the service according to the package or at the price specified by the service provider. 2) The overall efficiency of the architecture of computer operation leasing system with cloud computing technology evaluation is the highest satisfying level (xฬ=4.53, S.D.=0.49). |
