Abstract Abstract Objective: To study outcomes of post operative pain, patient satisfaction, complications and analgesic injection of ambulatory inguinal hernia repair. Methods: Retrospective descriptive study of ambulatory inguinal hernia repair by the local anesthesia in Lad Krabang Hospital, 35 cases, were collected from March 2016 to October 2017. Post operative pain, patient satisfaction, post operation analgesic injection, and complications were collected. Results: The average pain for ambulatory inguinal hernia repair by the local anesthesia in Lad Krabang Hospital was 1.43?0.50 and patient satisfaction was 4.83?0.38. There was no complication in this study group. Conclusion: Ambulatory inguinal hernia repair by the local anesthesia was success of the surgery. The operation has low in pain score, high in patients' satisfaction and not necessary in post operationanalgesic injection. Therefore, this technique may be recommended as the first choice in inguinal hernia repair.
