| Abstract | Objective: The purpose of this research was to develop an information system for managing first-aid data for the nursing room at the Office of the Secretariat of the Senate. The system allows management of data for services provided at the nursing room located on the first floor of Parliament Building 2. Methods: The participants of the research were 13 professional nurses. The research tools were the developed information system, performance evaluation, and a satisfaction form. The data collected were analyzed by using the scores obtained from the performance evaluation and from the form for evaluating satisfaction with the system. The mean (X), the standard deviation (S.D.), and levels of satisfaction were computed. Results: The majority of the respondents were female (69.23%), between the ages of thirty-one and forty (69.23%), and had bachelor's degrees (84.62%). Nearly seventy percent (69.23%) had six to fifteen years of work experience. The system users were satisfied with the efficiency of system requirements. The system functioned with operational precision. It was easy to use and data security was shown to be of a high level. Performance was evaluated at a high level with X = 4.09. Conclusion: An information system for first-aid information management at the nursing room of the Secretariat of the Senate can support the operation very well. System users reported high levels of satisfaction. |
