| Abstract | วัตถุประสงค์ : เพื่อศึกษาประสิทธิผลของการรักษาภาวะท่อนํ้าตาอุดตัน Nasolacrimal drainage obstructions (NLDO) ด้วยวิธีการผ่าตัด External dacryocystorhinostomy ที่โรงพยาบาลธรรมศาสตร์เฉลิมพระเกียรติระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2548-2552รูปแบบการศึกษา : Retrospective descriptive studyวิธีการศึกษา : โดยการทบทวนการบันทึกในเวชระเบียนผู้ป่วยของผู้ป่วยทุกคนที่ได้รับการผ่าตัดExternal dacryocystorhinostomy ที่โรงพยาบาลธรรมศาสตร์เฉลิมพระเกียรติ ในปี พ.ศ. 2548 ถึง 2552ประเมินความสำเร็จของการผ่าตัดจากความสามารถในการล้างท่อนํ้าตาหลังการผ่าตัดมากกว่า 50 ติดต่อกันเป็นเวลา 6 เดือนผลการศึกษา : ศึกษาในผู้ป่วยจำนวน 19 ตา โดยศึกษาหลังการผ่าตัด 1 ปี พบว่ามีความสำเร็จของการผ่าตัดคิดเป็นร้อยละ 78.95 (15 ใน 19 ตา) หนึ่งในจำนวนนี้พบว่าผลการล้างท่อนํ้าตามีการอุดตันบางส่วนแต่นํ้ายังผ่านได้มากกว่าร้อยละ 50สรุป : การผ่าตัดรักษาภาวะท่อนํ้าตาอุดตันด้วยวิธี External dacryocystorhinostomy ในโรงพยาบาลธรรมศาสตร์เฉลิมพระเกียรติมีผลสำเร็จเป็นที่น่าพอใจ Effi cacy of External Dacryocystorhinostomy for Nasolacrimal Duct Obstruction in Thammasat HospitalAbstractObjective: To evaluate the overall effi cacy of external dacryocystorhinostomy treatment for nasolacrimal duct obstruction (NLDO) performed at Thammasat Hospital during 2005-2009.Design: Retrospective descriptive studyMethods: Retrospective Review of all medical records with external dacryocystorhinostomytreatment scheduled during 2005-2009 at Thammasat Hospital. Success was defi ned by ability toperform irrigate nasolacrimal sac and at least 50% of liquid can pass through nasolacrimal duct for 6consecutive months.Result: Medical records of 19 external dacryocystorhinostomysurgery performed during 2005-2009 period were reviewed and found success rate of 78.95% (15 out of 19) with one of the patient still has partial nasolacrimal duct blockage during performing irrigate nasolacrimal sac procedure but more than 50% of liquid can still be passing through.Conclusions: Effi cacy of external dacryocystorhinostomy surgery for nasolacrimal duct obstruction in Thammasat Hospital is satisfactory. |
