| Abstract | The objective is to study the quality of life of rice farmers in the era of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak, the first wave of 2020. 277 organic rice farmers were used in this study in Ubon Ratchathani and Sisaket provinces. The statistics used in the data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and inferential statics. The concept of quality of life is composed of 4 domains, including health and duty, social and economics, psychological and family domains. The results of the study found that farmers felt that their families were affected during the COVID-19 outbreak including, moderately troubled (56.32%), very distressed (28.88%), slightly distressed (8.30%) and not suffered (6.50%), respectively. It was caused by a decrease in family income. Farmers' overall quality of life was at moderately satisfied (5.14). For each domain, family was at very satisfied (5.53), social and economics was at moderately satisfied (5.14), psychological was at moderately satisfied (4.85) and health and duty was at slightly satisfied (5.02). |
