| Abstract | Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is a typical salad vegetable which has high nutrition and economic value. Currently, this plant species was mostly cultivated in the hydroponic system in order to control the factor affecting the growth and yield. This research aims to investigate the influence of Phranakhon nutrient solution and several of milk bio-extract concentrations (0.00, 0.10, 0.20, 0.30 or 0.40% v/v) by foliar application on responses of red oak lettuce cultivated in hydroponics system under dynamic root floating technique (DRFT). The experimental design was as completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and five replications per treatment. The results showed that the red oak lettuce cultivated in Phranakhon nutrient solution was greatest of the plant height, leaf number, plant canopy, shoot fresh weight, shoot dry weight and shoot dry matter. In addition, the red oak lettuce was applied milk bio-extract by foliar application at 0.30% (v/v) showed the highest of the plant height, leaf number, plant canopy, shoot fresh weight, shoot dry weight and shoot dry matter when compared to the red oak lettuce was applied milk bio-extract by foliar application at 0.10, 0.20 and 0.40 % (v/v). |
