| Abstract | The academic article which titled as ‘Ya Nak(Phayanak): Faith and ceremony of the villagers of Sathing-Mor, Singhanakhorn district, Songkhla province, aimed to study about faith and ceremony in the villagers’ way of life related to ‘Ya Nak or Phayanak’. The faith and ceremony of which inherited and practiced as their livelihood has been explained in various issues. The following issues have been narrated. Yanak has been respecting as ‘Ngoo Luang Rong Thuad Ta’ is the first issue. The second issue is Ya Nak wedding/marrying, Wat Dhammakhot, Wat Sathit Cholatan and Wat Bor Parb. The third issue is Ya Nak and ‘Chak Phra and Wan Wang’. And the last issue is Ya Nak and Agriculture. From these issues, it has been formed stories of Ya Nak in various dimensions and been influencing from faith and ceremony of the villagers of Sathing-Mor, Singhanakhorn district, Songkhla province. And these dimensions have been holding and putting into practices from generations to generations until present days. |
