| Abstract | Thy study of In vitro young leaf and shoot tips of Momordica charantia were made at the Department of Biology, University of Phayao durning September to December, 2011. In vitro young leaf and shoot tips of Momordica charantia were cultured on modified MS supplemented sith BA at 1,3,5,7,mg/l and with NAA at 0.1 mg/l for 6 weeks. The results showed that young leaf was cultured on modified MS medium with BA 1.0 mg/l combination with NAA 0.1 mg/l indicated callus size 2.9๑0.18 cm. In vitro shoot tips were cultured on modified MS medium with BA 3.0 mg/l combination with NAA 0.1 mg/l induced the highest number of shoot 10.1๑0.24 shoot per explants. In vitro rooting of regenerated shoot was cultured on modified MS medium with NAA 0.1 mg./l. The results revealed the highest root induction number 29.4๑0.40 root per shoot. |
