| Abstract | With the advent of the internet, it creates a new channel for advertising that works 24/7 and enables personalized advertisement. Advertising price of this media is also cheaper than other medias. Thus, advertising on the internet becomes more popular. Entrepreneurs who want to advertise on the internet should consider budget and select an appropriate website and topic in the website of targeted consumers. Hence, this paper proposes a decision support system for advertising on website. It considers important factors, e.g., characteristics of targetedconsumers and topics in those websites that are appropriate for the targeted consumers. The proposed system applied a data mining technique using a decision tree to select an appropriate topic in the websites. The evaluation results indicated that selecting topics in those websites that are appropriate for the targeted consumers got up to 84.74% accuracy. The usabilityevaluation has been conducted via three sample group was Electronic ecommerce, Entrepreneurs and Commercial site form online questionnaire. The results indicate the overall sample group satisfaction is in highest level. The most satisfied criteria are the effectiveness of the system, which is user ready to use the system without having to new learn when they come back to use it again, able to planned to match which a user define budget, able to predict the cost of advertising and able to planned advertising site. |
