| Abstract | The objectives of this research are 1) to study the conditions of promoting local government. With the 4 principles of influence 2) to analyze problems and obstacles affecting the promotion of local government With the principles of Iddhipada 4 3) to suggest guidelines for promoting local government With the 4 principles of Iddhipada, it is qualitative research. using in-depth interviews with key informants The tool used was an interview form with key informants used in the research. Classified according to their role in the community, divided into 5 groups, each group has 4 people, totaling 20 people. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques, component analysis.The results of the research found that 1) Conditions for promoting local government. With the 4 principles of influence obtained from the interview results, there is a trend in the same direction in all 5 areas, promoting the economy, society, natural resources and the environment. stability and order Religion and culture with love and understanding of the local area and the people, committed to performing duties impartially Focus on your duties and have good judgment and think through solutions with wisdom. 2) The results of the analysis of obstacles to the promotion of local government. With the principle of Iddhipada 4, from the interview results there was a trend in the same direction in all 5 areas, that problems and obstacles were found in promoting local government. With the 4 principles of Iddhipāt. Promoting local government with the 4 principles of Iddhipāt does not yet cover every problem in each area. Therefore, Dhamma principles should be integrated into work to be appropriate and cover all dimensions of the problem. 3) Suggestions for ways to promote local government. With the four economic principles, from the interview results there is a trend in the same direction in all five areas.
