| Abstract | The objectives of this thesis were to study the political participation of the people in the election of members of the Thong Pha Phum Subdistrict Municipality Council. Kanchanaburi Province. By compare with different sex, age, education level and monthly income. To suggest guidelines for political participation of the people in the election of members of the Thong Pha Phum Subdistrict Municipality Council. Kanchanaburi.This research is a quantitative research, the research tool was the questionnaire. Kanchanaburi Province, the sample size of 320 people was determined by Krejcie and Morgan's open table method (Krejcie and Morgan) and using simple random sampling. There are 2 types of statistics used in data analysis: descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.The results of research were found that: the exercise of voting rights and the aspect of election monitoring were highest level when considered in descending order of mean. The exercise of voting rights, the items with the highest mean were: he/she exercised his/her right to vote because it was a duty of citizens, followed by he/she go to vote for fear of losing your political rights and the item with the lowest mean he/she have exercised your right to elect members of the municipal council because the candidates have knowledge and abilities, respectively. The aspect of election monitoring when considered in descending order of mean, as follows: the items with the highest mean was he/she is involved in monitoring the behavior of the municipal council election committee was followed by he/she has participated in meetings, planning, monitoring, and reviewing the municipal council elections and the item with the lowest mean he/she has participated in examining the qualifications of candidates for election of members of the municipal council respectively. |
