Abstract The objectives of this research are 1) to study the work performance of village health volunteers, 2) to study factors affecting the work performance of village health volunteers, and 3) to propose guidelines for developing the work performance of volunteers. Apply for village public health services to care for bedridden patients in Udon Thani and Nong Khai provinces it is both quantitative and qualitative research Using questionnaires and interviews. The population that responded to the survey of voters in the areas of Udon Thani and Nong Khai provinces was 400 people and the interviewees were 20 people. Statistics used in the research were averages, percentages, standard deviations and multiple regression correlation analysis and summarize the content interpretation Summary and discussion of results.The results of the research found that: 1) Development of the practice of village health volunteers in caring for bedridden patients. Overall, every aspect is at a moderate level, arranged in order from highest to lowest as follows. The most valuable aspect is the pollution aspect, followed by the person-to-person aspect and the side with the least value is the air side, respectively. 2) Factors affecting the performance of village health volunteers in caring for bedridden patients Overall, it was found that not exercising (X4), exposure to risk groups (X3), and proximity to risk groups (X2), had coefficients of the predictors in the raw score (b) equal to 0.730, 0.348, and 0.236, respectively and 3) Guidelines for developing work practices should promote hygienic eating. Eat food that nourishes the health of bedridden patients. Avoid impure pollution because it makes the body unsafe and at risk of disease and stay away from people with various chronic diseases that can be contacted from person to person if necessary, wear a cloth over your mouth and nose to prevent germs that may be contagious for the safety of the people.
