| Abstract | In the past times, Thailand’seconomic and social development has created social inequality, income disparity,andnatural resource degradation. As such,the limitative economicgrowth hasthereforepushedThailandinto amiddle-incometrap country. To resolvesuch problems, during thepast few years, a concept related to the BCG economy model, as a tool for national economic and societal developmentto accomplish inclusive and sustainable growth,has publicly beenmentionedin Thai society.Although the modelacts asa national agendawith the focus on the agricultureand food industry, energy and material sector, medical services,and tourism industry,its understandings,and linkagestothe sportsindustry, as a part of tourism,stakeholdersarevaguedue to its policy newness and absence of academic evidence.To bridgethe knowledge paucity in the literature, this article proposes the BCG Blueprint as a practical tool forBCG conceptualapplication for sports event managementas a component of sportstourism.
