| Abstract | The purposes of this research were to develop a causal model factors influencing identities of students of Naresuan University. The specific purposes were 1) to study causal factors and identities of students of Naresuan University. 2) To establish and monitor the accordance between the model of causal factors influencing identities of students of Naresuan University with the empirical data. The created model composited 5 variables. The samples of this research were the 2nd and 3rd year undergraduate students of the 2012 academic year. 381 students were selected as samples obtained by Stratified Random Sampling. The instrument used in data collection was a 5-point rating scale questionnaire. Data analysis was done by using a program to determine the basic statistics and a path analysis with Lisrel Version 8.3 Program. The results of the research were as follows: 1. A causal model influencing identities of students of Naresuan University composited 5 factors: 1) Family factor; there is 1 observed variable, e.g. rearing style on support. 2) Teacher factor; there are 2 observed variables, e.g. relationship between teachers and teacher instruction behavior. 3) University factor; there are 4 observed variables, e.g. services of student, place-building, relationship between friends and, participation activity to develop the learners. 4) Students factor; there are 3 observed variable, e.g. achievement motivation, self-proud and, attitude toward learning. Model analysis result revealed that a causal model influencing identities of students of Naresuan University following the hypothesis accorded with the empirical data, considered from Chi-square = 62.21, df = 59, p-value = 0.2697, GFI = .98, AGFI = .95, RMSEA = 0.017. |
