| Abstract | The aim of this research was to enhance the creativity and science content knowledge of eleventh-grade students learning through the integrated STEM learning emphasized on the engineering design process, which consisted of 5 steps of 1) Problem identification, 2) Related information and theory search, Planning and designing bridge stick model construction, 4) Prototype of bridge stick model construction, 5) Testing. The participants were one classroom of students in an engineering program classroom at Ongkharak Demonstration School, Srinakharinwirot University, semester 2, the academic year 2022. The research tools were composed of STEM lesson plan on truss structure lesson, an evaluation of the engineering design process, and the construction score. The results of the students' engineering design process on bridge model making from ice cream sticks were 88.2% and the highest construction score were 94 points for construction score in three parts (efficiency, strength, and cost). These results could be due to the fact that the organizing activity was solving problems in the engineering design process, students had to plan and design bridge stick model construction from ice cream sticks systematically. This leads to students can solve the problem with their insight resulting in their to completely to what they have learned. |
