Abstract This research aims to 1) design learning management for self-learning promotion, 2) study the results of promotion learning management for self-learning, and 3) study satisfaction. Target groups were 47 third year students in general science major who have enrolled in the course of creating innovative learning materials for science on semester 1, academic year 2020, using a purposive selection. The research instruments were 1) learning management plan of self-learning promotion, 2) observational form, 3) semi-structured interview, 4) self-learning questionnaire, and 5) the satisfaction survey. The data were analyzed by statistical analysis. Quantitative data using descriptive statistics, mean and standard deviation. Qualitative data analysed by explaining the phenomenon through the reflection of the students by taking pictures through the phone camera, small group seminars, summary and transcription. The research results found that Instructional System Design (ISD), researcher has used ADDIE Model with 5 steps, including analysis state, design stage, development stage, implementation stage, evaluation stage as a model for designing learning management for self-learning promotion. The results of learning management for self-learning promotion of science media innovative development was found that from 3 components; the overall picture after receiving the learning activities was x̄ = 4.51, S.D.= 0.58 at the highest level, and the satisfaction towards the learning management of pre-service science teacher were promoted on self-learning, equal to x̄ = 4.51, S.D.= 0.58 at the highest level.
