Abstract One of the things that will lead to effective and successful learning for students is happiness. Students who enjoy their studies are more likely to learn well and perform well academically. The objectives of this research were 1) to compare pre-test and post-test achievement by using the MACRO model of learning management with a game-based learning, and 2) to study students' happiness in studying chemistry by using the MACRO model of learning management with a game-based learning. The sample for this study was 33 students from Grade 4, Room 5, Horwang School in Pathum Thani Province. The tools used in the research consisted of 1) learning management plans using a macro model with game-based learning; 2) academic achievement tests; and 3) an assessment of happiness in studying chemistry. Standard deviation, t-test, and averaging were used to analyze the data. The results showed that: 1) the achievement of chemistry courses between pre-test and post-test of students who received a MACRO model and game-based learning; There was a statistically significant difference of .05, with higher post-test scores than pre-test, and 2) Students who receive MACRO model learning with game-based learning There is a happiness assessment result in studying chemistry with a high level of happiness.
