| Abstract | This research article aims 1) to study right views, 2) to develop right views according to Theravada Buddhist philosophy, and 3) to study patterns in developing right views according to Theravada Buddhist philosophy, and 4) to present the body of knowledge about the development of right views according to Theravada Buddhist philosophy. There are collected by studying Tipitaka, Textbooks, and related documents. In addition, there is collected by in-depth interview with three groups: 1) five Buddhist monks, 5 Buddhist scholars, and 5 Buddhist laypeople, in total of 15 persons.The results of the research are as follows: 1) right view is important and it is useful, bring beauty, and prosperity alone right view according to Buddhist implications. Right view is therefore called the basis of the emergence of goodness or charity and the source of all Dhammas. 2) The development of right view according to Theravada Buddhist philosophy is very important on the creation of factors of the birth of right view. Right view cannot happen by itself, if there is no cause for this reason. Therefore, there are many categories of Dharma which usually begins with showing the factors of right view. 3) The appropriate form of development of right view according to Theravada Buddhist philosophy is a form that has Paratoghosa and Yonisomanasikara which are the cause of right view and under the concepts of precepts, concentration, and wisdom. 4) The new body of knowledge called “WARM MODEL” which stands for W (Wisdom) means development of approval of all things with wisdom, A (Auspiciousness) means development of auspicious desires, R (Real) means development of approval according to reality, M (Middle Path) means the development of approval through the middle path. |
