| Abstract | The objective of this academic article is to study Killing of Human Being in Buddhist Ethical Aspect, and the study found that manslaughter is an evil act in the sense of morality of humans in every civilization around the globe. Every philosophical system of thoughts opposes to manslaughter including Buddhist philosophy. Buddhist philosophy has ethical evaluation of Killing of Human Being on 2 level, Dharma and Vinaya. The ethical evaluation of manslaughter in Dharma and Vinaya both have some common points and distinctive points. However, Dharma, in the status of universal law, is the ultimate law that nothing can object or oppose. Therefore, the manslaughter ethical evaluation in Vinaya can be differently written but must always be accorded to Dharma. |
