| Abstract | The objectives of this study were 1) the level of core competencies in the performance of municipal employees in Lopburi Province, 2) the level of performance efficiency of municipal employees in Lopburi Province, and 3) the relationship between the core competencies and the performance efficiency of municipal employees in Lopburi Province. The samples used in this research were municipal employees under the municipality in Lopburi, 252 people. The research tools were a questionnaire with confidence value 0.902. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage value, standard deviation and correlation coefficient of Pearson. The results of research were as follows: 1) the overall and individual aspects of the municipal staff's performance in Lopburi Province were at a high level. In order of average from highest to lowest, with are: they were adherence to righteousness and ethics, understanding of the organization and work system, team work, service is excellent and in terms of achievement, 2) the efficiency of work performance of municipal employees in Lopburi Province in general and in each aspect is high level. In order of average from highest to lowest, with are: the quality of work, workload, economical or cost-effectiveness of resources and speed, and 3) the relationship between the core competence and the performance efficiency of municipal employees in Lopburi Province, overall, the core competency in performance was positively correlated with the performance of municipal employees in Lopburi Province at a medium, the statistical significance at the .01 level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the core competency in teamwork was a relationship with the efficiency of employees in Lopburi Province more than other core competencies. |
