| Abstract | The objectives of this research were to study the strength of community enterprises and factors affecting the strength of community enterprises in Wai Niao Sub-district, Thamaka District, Kanchanaburi Province. Data were collected by a questionnaire survey from a population of 100 presidents and analyzed using descriptive statistics including percentage, average, and standard deviation. Relationships were analyzed by stepwise multiple regression using Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient. Results of the study revealed that the respondents had a high level of knowledge concerning community enterprises and often participated in community-related activities. Factors that were recorded at a high level included using local wisdom to promote agricultural activities and leadership, management of community enterprises, manufacturing of products and services, and self-reliance on the allocation of resources. An analysis of the relationships between the factors determined that agricultural land had a moderately negative relationship with a statistical significance level at .05,while local wisdom had a high positive relationship with statistical significance level at .01 on promoting agricultural activities and leadership. Multiple regression analysis indicated that the variables of leadership and using local wisdom to promote agricultural activities had a positive effect and increased the strength of community enterprises by 33.6% with statistical significance level at .05.The forecast formula from raw scores Ŷ= 1.373 + .294 X8 + .324 X7and the forecast formula from standard scores Ẑ = .358 Z X8 + .311 Z X7 |
