| Abstract | Objective: This study develops the WE Model (Wakalah Empowerment Model), a faith-driven empowerment framework for educational quality management in 21st-century Islamic private schools. The model integrates contemporary empowerment theories with Islamic management principles within an interpretivist paradigm.Methodology: Employing an exploratory qualitative design within an interpretivist paradigm, data were collected via focus group discussions (FGDs) with 22 purposefully selected administrators and teachers. Thematic analysis was applied to construct the theoretical framework.Research Findings: The WE Model comprises three interconnected dimensions: (1) spiritual empowerment, fostering intrinsic motivation through accountability to God; (2) organizational empowerment, emphasizing consultative management (Shura); and (3) professional empowerment, promoting personnel excellence (Ihsan). This model shifts power dynamics from traditional command-and-control practices to trust-based collaborative empowerment.Contributions: It serves as a framework for fostering value-based leadership and a quality culture through the integration of organizational, psychological, and spiritual dimensions, thereby promoting effective and sustainable educational management. |
