| Abstract | The objectives of this research were: (1) to compare factors affecting the decision to use biodiesel alternative energy of people in Pathum Thani province by classified by personal factor, and (2) to study factors influencing the decision to use biodiesel alternative energy of people in Pathum Thani province. A questionnaire was used to collect data. The sample consisted of 400 people. The statistics used in the analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, Chi-square and Regression Analysis in the hypothesis testing to analyze the relationship between independent and dependent variables in this study. The results indicated as follow: 1. A comparison of the decision to use biodiesel alternative energy by personal factor concluded that: the overall was not different except for gender, occupation and income per month. 2. Factors influencing the decision to use biodiesel alternative energy of people consisted of the perception of biodiesel alternative energy (? = 0.86), followed by the value of biodiesel alternative energy (? = 0.78), knowledge of biodiesel alternative energy, and attitude of biodiesel alternative energy (? = 0.68), respectively. The equation has 89 percent predictive power and can be written as the following equation: Z = 0.86 X1 ** + 0.78X2 ** + 0.74X3 ** + 0.64X4 ** |
