| Abstract | Nickel poisoning occurs among workers in alloy production, & tainless steel andnickel carbonyl refinery factories. The entry routes of nickel into the human body areinhalation and ingestion. Acute exposure to nickel carbonyl may lead to severepneurnonitis eczematous contact dermatitis or nickel itch, atopic dermatitis, cancers ofthe lung and nasal sinus. Usiig urinary nickel carbonyl level above 100 lg/I for diagnosisof Severe exposure to nickel carbonyl. |
