| Abstract | The influx of Chinese capital has had a significant impact on Thailand's economy and education system. Chinese immigrants have long had an impact on Thailand's economy, investing and building wealth through their businesses. In the twentieth century, Chinese capital expanded its influence into a wide range of sectors, including education, promoting Chinese language and culture throughout Thailand. However, the arrival of Chinese capital has raised concerns about the independence of educational institutions, a lack of transparency, and the possibility of corruption, all of which must be closely monitored.According to the analysis, Chinese investment in Thai educational institutions has changed the educational landscape, necessitating improvements and increasing Thai universities' competitiveness. This investment has yielded benefits such as improved infrastructure and cultural exchanges, but it has also raised concerns about the long-term loss of Thai educational sovereignty and influence, as foreign collaboration and specialized curricula alter governance and content. |
