Abstract Diversity of purchased products is important for retailers. When a customer purchases a specific product in large volume, the customer might get some benefit, such as more discounts. In contrast, this might be disadvantage for retailers because only some products have high inventory turnover. Therefore, many large retailers try to motivate their customers to purchase various products.
