| Abstract | A Study of Myanmar Alien Workers’ Employment of Small-Medium Enterprises at Phisanulok aims to (1) study the Myanmar alien workers’ employment of Thai SMEs at Phisanulok, (2) study significant factors affecting the Myanmar alien workers’ employment of Thai SMEs, and (3) study a relationship between employment factors and work characteristics in SMEs. 384 were randomly selected as a sample by using both of descriptive statistics and interracial statistics which are frequency, mean, SD, T-Test, ANOVA, correlation, and regression to analyze the data. The results reveals that Thai SMEs are agreed to employ the alien workers, as well as the hypothesis reveals that the different in gender, age, type of enterprise, number of labor, method of employment, and wage rate lead to the different in work characteristics. Moreover, the regression analysis reveals that labor shortage (X1), governance (X4), and state policy and law (X5) influence the alien workers’ employment by 26.6, 22.7, and 19.5 respectively. The correlation analysis reveals that there are four pairs of factors have highly positive relationships by the working characteristics and dangerous job has the highest correlation at .890. |
