| Abstract | The Purpose of studying the attitudes of students in University towards smoking electronic cigarettes and cigarettes were to study the level of attitude perception and compare the attitudes of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University students between smoking the electronic cigarettes and cigarettes. Quantitative research was used for collecting the data. The samples were 400 students in University in academic year 2018 chosen by using Taro Yamane formula. The questionnaire about personal factors and harmful smoking perception test was used for compiling data. Percentage, mean, standard deviation (SD), t-test and F-test were used for data analysis. The findings revealed as follows. The level of the attitude on smoking electronic cigarettes and cigarettes of the students in University is moderate (xˉ = 3.08, S.D = 2.90). The level of perception on smoking electronic cigarettes and cigarettes of the students in University is moderate (xˉ = 6.80, S.D = 1.74). Those who had different sex, age, habitat status and harmful smoking knoeledge hadn’t have different involvement in attitude on smoking electronic cigarettes and cigarettes. Those who had different years, average income and trying to smoke had different involvement in attitude on smoking electronic cigarettes and cigarettes. |
