Abstract The research objectives were to determine 1) the strategic planning of school 2) the student quality of school 3) the relationship between the strategic planning and the student quality of school under the Bangkok metropolitan secondary educational service area office 1. The sample were 49 schools under the Bangkok metropolitan secondary educational service area office 1 involving a total of 98 respondents (two respondents per school). The research instrument consisted of a comprehensive questionnaire designed to explore aspects of both strategic planning and student quality. Methodologically, we applied a range of statistical tools, including frequency analysis, percentage calculations, determination of arithmetic means, assessment of standard deviations, and computation of Pearson's product moment correlation coefficient.Our findings illuminated several key insights: 1) In terms of strategic planning, schools within Bangkok Metropolitan Secondary Educational Service Area Office 1 displayed commendable performance across all dimensions. The arithmetic mean scores ranked these dimensions from highest to lowest as follows: sector analysis, direction formulation, and strategic formulation. 2) Similarly, the overall quality of students in these schools was notably high. Student outcomes, the development of basic skills and characteristics, integration of working skills and characteristics, and learning ability and characteristics all achieved commendable levels of excellence. These dimensions were ranked based on descending arithmetic mean scores. 3) A significant revelation emerged when we observed a robust, positive correlation between the strategic planning efforts and the quality of students in schools operating under Bangkok Metropolitan Secondary Educational Service Area Office 1. This correlation was statistically significant at the 0.01 level.
