| Abstract | This survey research used factor analysis to measure ethical mind of vocational students inChiang Mai; Thailand. Sampled students were from the first-year class of 2015; comprised of 1;183students via stratified random sampling method. General statistics from the survey data were generatedby the Software Package for Social Science research (SPSS). Factor analysis was generated by LinearStructural Relations (LISREL); performing Confirmatory Factor Analysis and consistency checking oftheoretical models against empirical data. Results of the data analysis showed that ethical mind theorywas consistent with empirical data. All variables; and conformance test measures; were acceptable: chisquare(??2) = 89.96; degrees of freedom (df) = 10; level of significance (p-value) = 0.44; value indexharmony (GFI) = 0.96; index level harmonized modifiable (AGFI) = 0.98; index root mean spare of theremainder (SRMR) = 0.03; and the root mean square of error estimated (RMSEA) = 0.00. Weight ofcomposition rank-ordered results were: future orientation/self-control had highest weight; indicating thatthis was the most important variable to ethical mind. |
