| Abstract | This study focuses on the association of parental bonding on social interaction and psychological well-being among adolescents. The quantitative data were collected from 600 adolescents. The reliable instruments included Parental Bonding Instrument (PBI), Social Interaction Anxiety Scale (SIAS), and Psychological Wellbeing Scale (PWB). The results revealed that there is a positive significant relationship between parental bonding and psychological well-being and a negative relationship between parental bonding and social interaction anxiety. Moreover, the linear regression shows that parental bonding with mother explained R2 6% and that of father explained only 2%. The findings highlight the significance of quality parental bonding with children for a mentally, physically, and globally healthy and participating child. |
