| Abstract | Two commercial and one free online multiple linear analysis programs were tested with simulated potentiometric titration data for accuracy in determination of equivalent point, dissociation constant and partition coefficient. In many cases, analysis of simulated data yielded inaccurate results, possibly due to programming algorithms. This study highlights a need for regression programs to be tested with simulated data to assess their limitations. |
