| Abstract | The research on the creation of vases using seashells is an action-based study with the objectives of exploring the design of seashell vases, the creation process of these vases, and examining the satisfaction of target groups towards the seashell vase inventions. The researcher designed three drafts, and an expert selected one for creation. The respondents to the survey consisted of nine hotel employees from nine different hotels, chosen through purposive sampling. Data were collected and analyzed to find frequency, percentage, and mean values. The study results regarding the satisfaction of the target group towards the creative seashell vase inventions revealed that respondents were most satisfied with the aspect of creativity (mean = 4.55). Next, they showed high satisfaction in the areas of distinctiveness of shape and suitability for use, both with the same mean value (mean = 4.44). The following factors had similar satisfaction levels: appropriateness of used materials, regional identity, and overall composition of the workpiece ( mean = 4. 33) . The usage of color tones and the variety of floral arrangements in different shapes scored a mean of 4.22. Overall, the average satisfaction level with the seashell vase creation was high (mean = 4.29) |
