| Abstract | Small and medium enterprises (SME) businesses are an organization that needs flexibility because there is a work structure not complicated. There are no levels of commands. There is a quick decision. However, the organization needs to have the ability to integrate the various resources that they have to lead to the operations. The advantage of the resources that the business has is considered the source of the organization that will lead to competitive advantage. Thus, the objectives of this study were (1) to study business management innovation on leadership that affects the competitive advantage of small and medium enterprises (SME) in southern border provinces. (2) to study business management innovation in planning that affects the competitive advantage of small and medium enterprises (SME) in the southern border provinces. (3) to study business management innovation in information technology that affects the competitive advantage of small and medium enterprises (SME) in the southern border provinces. (4) to study innovation in business management in terms of people That affects the competitive advantage of small and medium businesses. (SME) in the southern border provinces. And (5) to study business management innovation in the process That affects the competitive advantage of small and medium enterprises (SME) in the southern border provinces. Postal information was collected on the subjects who were business owners or agents of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in the southern border provinces of 385 places and the statistics used in the descriptive analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that leadership business management innovation affects the competitive advantage of small and medium enterprises (SME) in the southern border provinces at the level of statistical significance of 0.05. While business management innovation in planning affects the competitive advantage of small and medium enterprises (SME) in southern border provinces at the statistical significance level of 0.05, business management innovation in information technology affects the competitive advantage of small and medium enterprises (SME) in the southern border provinces at the statistical significance level of 0.05 people-based business management innovation affects the competitive advantage of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in the southern border provinces at the statistical significance level of 0.05 and business management innovation in the process affects the competitive advantage of small and medium enterprises (SME) in the southern border provinces at the statistical significance level of 0.05. The results of this research contributing to entrepreneurs' understanding of the importance of business management innovation and can use as a key mechanism in driving the organization toward creating a sustainable competitive advantage. |
