| Abstract | Most local governments still have limited resources in terms of human resources, budgets, and materials. Therefore, to operate the organization with efficiency and effectiveness, with transparency, and in the best interests of their localities. The local development plan, which has now been transformed into a strategic plan, is one of the important tools that enable local governments to operate according to their goals. Therefore, it is necessary to formulate a plan that can respond to local development work and can indicate the success of the plan. This research has the objectives; (1) To study the level of people's opinions towards the operation of the Tambon Administrative Organization. (2) To compare people's opinions towards the operation of the Southern Sub-district Administrative Organization classified by sex, age, education level, and living sub-district. And 3) to study suggestions about the operation of the Subdistrict Administrative Organization. The sample consisted of 399 people in Borabue District, Maha Sarakham Province. The research tools were questionnaires. Statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, mean, frequency, standard deviation, t-test, and One-Way ANOVA. The results showed that; (1) People's opinions towards the operation of the Subdistrict Administrative Organization overall were at a high level. (2) Comparison of people's opinions towards the operation of the Subdistrict Administrative Organization found that people with different sex, educational level, and sub-districts had no different opinions towards the operation. However, people of different ages had different opinions at the statistical significance level of .05. And 3) suggestions about the operation of the Subdistrict Administrative Organization, namely; Roads should be improved and repaired to be durable and meet standards. There should be the development of distribution centers for the public and the establishment of fitness centers for good health that meet standards. Should publicize the media to provide professional knowledge to people in the area. There should be a solution to the problem of polluted water in the community by providing garbage bins and having enough garbage trucks. Should be developed in terms of water for consumption and adequate consumption. And create participation in the preparation of the Subdistrict Administrative Organization Development Plan for the people to suggest useful opinions and incorporate them into the Subdistrict Development Plan. |
