Abstract | Elections are also an expression that a representative democracy is a government with the consent of the people as a government with the consent of the people. Because the people do not directly participate in the exercise of state power, the people who are the people with the power of the state give consent to their representatives to exercise the power of the state according to the period or terms predetermined in the constitution. The objectives of this research were: (1) to study opinions on factors influencing the selection of administrators of local government organizations. (2) to study the factors influencing the selection of local government executives. And (3) to study the suggestions on factors influencing the selection of local government executives. This study was conducted in local administrative organizations in Borabue District, Maha Sarakham Province. The sample consisted of 398 voters in Borabue District, Maha Sarakham Province. The research tools were questionnaires on factors influencing the selection of local government administrators. Statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, mean, frequency, standard deviation, and logistic regression analysis. The results showed that (1) The overall opinions about the factors influencing the selection of local government executives were at a high level. (2) Factors influencing the selection of local government administrators, namely, the applicant's policy, the applicant's knowledge and ability, and the reputation and image of the applicant, can be predicted at 50.12 percent with statistical significance at the level. 05. And 3) suggestions on the selection of local government executives, namely; candidates should have a community economic development policy to provide channels to increase the value of agricultural products and processed products. Should have experience in managing an organization, conducting a campaign by visiting the area to inquire about problems and needs of the people, together with using online communication channels. Have a public spirit, and always help social events. There is a campaign with a policy of creative development, not attacking competitors. Teams of campaign representatives from various communities have been created to work closely with the communities to ask questions and organize charitable activities such as football matches to raise money for temple schools for the less fortunate in the area. |
