| Abstract | The waste problem tends to increase and residual waste from all types of collective community waste management at the local administrative organization's waste disposal land. So, the purpose of this research was to develop the potential of the community in effective management of waste at the source through the participation of network partners in Chaiyaphum Province using participatory action research (PAR), by selecting a specific research area Ban Nong Mek Community, Village No. 9, Kokmungngoi sub-district, Khon Sawan District Chaiyaphum. The population and the sample were representatives of households in the area, totaling 60 people. Collect both quantitative and qualitative research data, by using a questionnaire, structured interview, group discussion guidelines, observation record form, and field records. Quantitative data analysis using statistics, percentages, and t-test (paired sample). Analyzing qualitative data using content analysis methods. The results of the research revealed that: the sample group after capacity development had knowledge of household waste separation, and have more solid waste management behaviors with statistical significance (p < 0.05). As a result of after capacity development found that the total waste volume was reduced to only 11.09%, and the community was 85.47% satisfied with the activities carried out together from the beginning to the end of the project. |
