| Abstract | The transition into the digital era, or Thailand 4.0, is characterized by innovation and technology-driven advancements. Organizations with efficient management systems that can quickly access information, develop information systems, and integrate information technology into their operations will enhance work efficiency, reduce processing time, and improve user convenience, enabling tasks to be completed on time. Additionally, decision-makers with access to comprehensive data can make quick, informed decisions, giving the organization a competitive edge that leads to success and growth in the digital age. This article reviews the literature to explore the knowledge that facilitates the use of information technology for organizational excellence in the digital era. Likewise, the application of information technology in operations, enhancing work efficiency, effective data management, business information systems, system planning and development, decision support systems, and the measurement of data security leads to success in utilizing information technology across many sectors. The information systems supporting organizational management, administration, and personnel operations comprise hardware, software, data, personnel, work procedures, accelerates the data transfer, transitioning to an information society, and working without regard to location or time limitations. Organizations should utilize technology to develop information systems for cloud computing for data storage, recording, processing, backup, and recovery, as well as real-time communication and collaboration technology and online meetings. It is imperative to develop information technology in organizational operations by selecting technology that suits the organization's characteristics and needs. This is crucial for driving organizations toward excellence and growth in the digital era. |
