| Abstract | Analyzing public and private management offers a sophisticated knowledge of the diverse approaches to organizational governance. While sharing commonalities, these realms diverge in their objectives and structures. Exploring these dimensions is essential for cultivating effective leaders and fostering collaboration of cross-sector, by promoting a holistic comprehension of organizational dynamics. The objective of this study is to analyze public and private sector management through a comparative analysis, challenges, and interplay in contemporary organizational management. This study was conducted by studying and analyzing relevant academic documents and conducting content analysis thus the results were presented in a descriptive manner. The finding found that there are similarities and contrasts between public and private management. Private sector management typically emphasis on efficiency and profitability, whereas public sector management frequently focuses on serving the public interest and ensuring accountability. Bureaucratic restrictions on the public sector and pressure from competitiveness in the private sector can present management challenges into both sectors. Collaboration between public and private management is becoming ever more important in order to address these problems and leverage their benefits. In addition, operations are transforming due to modern organizational management trends, remote worker work habits, and the emphasis on sustainability. Future research should study how public and private management dynamics are changing to assist organizations in creating effective coping strategies in a dynamic business environment. |
