| Abstract | The current state, desirable conditions, needs and development of guidelines for well-being within private schools of Kalasin Provincial Education Office were assessed in this research project. The project was divided into 2 phases: phase 1 was to: study the current state,desirableconditionsandneedfor well-being withinprivateschools.Thesamples inphase 1 consisted of 294 school administrators and teachers. The research instrument was a questionnaire with an index of item objective congruence between 0.80-1.00, and a reliability between 0.52-0.87. The statistics used for analyzing data were mean, standard deviation and priority need index. Phase 2 focused on development of guidelines for well-being within private schools. Focus group discussions included 7 professionals as informants. The research instrument was an evaluation form, and mean and standard deviation were used in analysis. The results are as follows: 1.The current state for well-being within private schools of Kalasin provincial education office, including all items, was at a high level overall. Desirable conditions for well-being within private schools of Kalasin provincial education office were at the highest level overall including all items. A review of the needs categories showed promotion of well-being in schools garnering the most needs. The next level in the need category was for well-being people. The least needed category was promoting well-being in communities and society. 2. The results of development of guidelines for well-being within private schools of Kalasinprovincialeducationoffice weredividedinto5categories;1) theprinciple2) thepurpose 3) the guidelines for promoting well-being in schools were divided into 5 factors; 3.1) well-being people 3.2) promoting well-being in schools 3.3) promoting well-being in the environment 3.4) well-beingpromotionincommunitiesandsociety4) the mechanism 5) thesuccessconditions. Theresultsof studiedcategories werediscussedamongafocusgroupofexperts foraffirmation. The results of possibility, suitability of developing guidelines were at high level. |
