| Abstract | This research aims to study the situation of necessary needs based on teachers' experiences in the precision measurement course to develop the skills of vocational certificate students. The target group providing information consists of 12 teachers in the industrial field teaching precision measurement affiliated with the Department of Vocational Education in Sakon Nakhon province. The student group consists of 100 second-year students enrolled in the Vocational Certificate Program at Sakon Nakhon Vocational College. Additionally, three instructional design and learning management experts are from Kalasin University, Roi Et Rajabhat University, and Udon Thani Rajabhat University. The research tools used in this study include semi-structured interviews. This study employs a design-thinking approach to understand what users feel and need in the teaching experiences of the precision measurement course. This approach uses five dimensions: role, emotion, perception, attitude and behavior. Data analysis is conducted qualitatively through content analysis. The study reveals that the necessary needs based on learning experiences in the precision measurement course have an overall learning effectiveness at a moderate level. needs to be more skill in using precision measurement tools, and students have focused more on theoretical content than practical application. The majority have little hands-on experience in creating their projects, with some students having minimal opportunities for self-directed learning and planning their learning, which is often attributed to a dislike for calculations, using numbers, and an aversion to complex work processes. Teachers express a need for teaching materials that make learning easy for students, emphasizing the use of interactive media that allows students to learn independently. Suggestions for instructional design include creating online learning management systems (Google Sites) to enhance the learning experience through a blended learning approach, combining experiential and self-directed learning, ultimately leading to developing students' precision measurement skills in the vocational certificate program. |
