| Abstract | The objectives of this research are: 1) To study the effectiveness of the mathematics learning management plan, specifically in statistics, for grade 8 students using the cooperative learning STAD technique with an effectiveness criterion of 75/75. 2) To compare the learning outcomes in mathematics, specifically in statistics, for grade 8students before and after implementing the cooperative learning STAD technique. 3) To examine the attitudes of grade 8 students towards mathematics learning using the cooperative learning STAD technique. The research sample consists of 25 grade 8 students from Chaloem Phra Kiat School, Sakon Nakhon, currently studying in the second semester of the academic year 2022. The research tools include 1) mathematics learning management plans for the mathematics subject group, 12 plans in total; 2) a performance assessment test with 30 questions; and 3) an attitude measurement questionnaire towards mathematics with 10 questions. Statistical analysis of the data includes dependent t-tests, means, percentages, and standard deviations. The research findings indicate that 1) the development of the effectiveness of cooperative learning using the STAD technique exceeds the specified criterion of 75/75, 2) the learning outcomes in mathematics, specifically in statistics, for grade 8 students after implementing the cooperative learning STAD technique are significantly higher than before, and 3) the overall attitudes grade 8 students towards mathematics after experiencing cooperative learning using the STAD technique are at a high level. |
