| Abstract | This research, "Developing an Urban Learning Ecosystem through Collaborative Arts and Culture Capital Mechanism," has three objectives: 1) to study the problems currently facing the urban learning ecosystem in Kalasin; 2) to study the needs for developing the urban learning ecosystem in Kalasin; and 3) To study the participation in the development of a model area (Sandbox) for urban ecological development by driving the mechanism of collaborative arts and culture capital. This research was designed using a quantitative data collection technique, primarily employing questionnaires to collect data from a sample of 500 people in all 41 communities within the Kalasin municipal area. The research findings revealed that 1) the overall and individual aspects of the learning ecosystem problems in Kalasin city were at a low level (Mean=2.18 SD=1.29). When considered item by item, the aspect with the highest average score was Physical and Infrastructure (Mean=2.33 SD=1.27), which was at a low level, and the aspect with the lowest average score was Economic (Mean=1.90 SD=1.30), which was at a low level. 2) The overall and individual needs for developing the Kalasin urban learning ecosystem are at a high level ( Mean=3.87 SD=1.29). When considered by individual aspects, the aspect with the highest average score is the environment and sustainability (Mean=4.06 SD=1.31), while the aspect with the lowest average score is the physical and infrastructure (Mean=3.68 SD=1.26), also at a high level. 3) Participation in the development of the area as a model (Sandbox) for urban ecological development through participatory arts and cultural capital mechanisms was at a high level overall and in each aspect (Mean=3.91 SD=1.27). When considered in each aspect, the aspect with the highest average score was Communication and Networking (Mean=4.18 SD=1.24), and the aspect with the lowest average score was Monitoring and Evaluation (Mean=3.68 SD=1.25), which was also at a high level. And The study found that the following approaches were crucial for developing urban ecosystem development into a "Sandbox" model through collaborative efforts to drive cultural and artistic capital: 1) the development of a "Sandbox" model for urban ecosystem development; 2) the model of a public-private partnership and citizen network for driving the "Sandbox" model for urban ecosystem development; 3) fostering citizen engagement; and 4) managing collaborative networks to ensure the continuity and sustainability of the "Sandbox" model for urban ecosystem development. |
