| Abstract | With the trends of green practices and environmental concerns, most organizations adopted environmentally friendly policies. In the current study, the focus is on exhibition venues and their attempts to promote and support green practices for the exhibitors. Data were collected from 394 exhibitors, including the companies from various industries, such as textile and jewelry, book and printing media and electrical and electronic appliances. The results indicated that there are differences in green practice policy and implementation in different exhibition venues, regarding the aspect of communication and public relations. Furthermore, there are many areas for improvement for exhibition venues, including reduction of paper usage and printing materials, and increase in the use of electronic registration and websites. Discussions, practical guidelines, and directions for future research are also provided. |
