Abstract Purpose: Although mobile group-buying applications have expanded rapidly, limited research has examined how quality-, value-, and trust-related factors jointly shape user satisfaction and reuse intention among college students. This study investigates how system quality, service quality, savings, trust, and perceived usefulness influence user satisfaction and subsequent reuse intention toward mobile group-buying applications in Nanning, China. Research design, data and methodology: A cross-sectional survey was conducted among students from 16 higher education institutions in Nanning who had prior group-buying experience. A total of 500 valid responses were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). Results: Trust and savings emerged as the strongest predictors of user satisfaction, while system quality, service quality, and perceived usefulness also exerted significant positive effects. User satisfaction significantly predicted reuse intention and mediated the relationships between antecedent factors and continued usage behavior. Conclusions: By integrating TAM, ECM, and IS Success perspectives, this study clarifies the mediating role of user satisfaction in mobile group-buying contexts. Strengthening trust mechanisms and value propositions can enhance satisfaction and promote sustained platform usage among college students.
