| Abstract | This independent study covers the topics of inventory optimization policy, including reorder point and order quantity decisions, under the inventory constraints of lost sales penalties and capacitated storage. By classifying retail products into two distinct behavioral categories, fast-moving and slow-moving, the research aims to analyze the inventory efficiency, service level, and cost performance of inventory management systems. The study utilizes the continuous review (Q, R) policy to determine the optimal reorder level and order quantities to satisfy customer demand, minimize total annual cost, and prevent lost sales. |
