| Abstract | Recent increases in uncertainty and disruptions have exposed the vulnerability of supply chains to performance degradation and delayed recovery. This study develops a data-driven fuzzy multi-objective framework integrating uncertainty, multi-echelon disruptions, and resilience strategies. The model minimizes total costs and recovery delay while maximizing service levels. Disruptions are modeled as persistent capacity reductions at suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution centers over a multi-period planning horizon. Resilience is achieved through internal resilience strategies (raw material buffering, overtime production, and lateral shipment) and external resilience strategies (backup supplier, subcontracting, and temporary warehouse utilization) during periods of disruption. Using a case study and scenario-based analysis, system performance is evaluated based on cost, service-level, and time-to-recovery metrics, using normalized resilience indices, an entropy-weighted composite index, and an overall resilience index across disruption severities. Results clearly indicate that the manufacturer echelon exhibits the highest vulnerability to disruptions, significantly affecting system performance and recovery speed. Overall, resilience strategies significantly improve recovery and service continuity, and the proposed framework provides decision support for balancing trade-offs among costs, service, and recovery under uncertain and disruptive operating environments. |
