| Abstract | The objectives of this study were to 1) explore the effect of demographic data on the employee's job performance, 2) examine the influence of Workplace Loneliness, Affective Commitment, and Proactive Personality on employee's job performance, and 3) provide insights and recommendations for enhancing employee's job performance and well-being within the Chinese state-owned telecommunication enterprises. The study employed a quantitative research design, utilizing online questionnaires distributed to employees in a telecommunication enterprise in Kunming, China. Descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation were used to analyze the data, alongside inferential statistics, including the Independent Sample t-test, One-way ANOVA, LSD, and Multiple Linear Regression, at a statistical significance level of 0.05. The results showed that job level and monthly income affected task performance. Workplace loneliness and effective commitment influenced task performance, with a multiple regression coefficient value (R) of 0.181. Workplace loneliness influenced employees' relationship performance and task performance in telecommunications enterprises in Kunming, China, with the multiple regression coefficient values (R) were 0.167 and 0.185, respectively. On this basis, some suggestions were made. |
