| Abstract | KPK Law (Law No. 30 of 2002) regarding Corruption Eradication Commision (KPK) mentioned the role of KPK as advocating in order to eradicate the acts of corruption by the states that have been before becoming more efficient. But, on 31st May 2017, formed the special committee of KPK inquiry by House of Representatives (DPR) with the reason to review KPK performance. Not long ago, after that, emerging the phenomenon about KPK was defeated by Setya Novanto, House Speaker within pretrial verdict the e-ID graft case. This study aimed to find out regarding how the construction of Tribunnews.com and detik.com regarding corruption eradication commission (KPK) within news stories after the pretrial verdict of Setya Novanto e-ID graft case. This study used framing analysis method Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki model. The result showed that Tribunnews.com tries to address reader's viewpoint toward the topic that KPK deserves to lose. This is emphasized by Tribunnews.com from news headline which is too sensational using an adjective term such as "KPK ceroboh" (KPK is negligent). Following the opinion of the other interviewees who support the theme. Meanwhile, detik.com conveys the different viewpoint, that is the defeat of KPK in Setya Novanto's pretrial verdict considered as recommendation and evaluation for KPK so that follow up the case immediately. That is proved by detik.com through the vocabulary in every headline and news content. One of them is giving the verb or the adjective in which positively after the term of KPK in the headline as well as on the whole news content. |
