Abstract The article based on the objective of studying about history, arts and beliefs of the ancient Chedi, Phra That Phon Thong. The Chedi which is well-known as Phra That Phon Thong situated in Nong Na Kham Subdistrict, Mueang District, Udon Thani Province. The findings are as following; Phra That Phon Thong Chedi is an octagon-shaped pagoda in Lan Chang arts constructed by laterite stones. The Chedi has been academically proved the age back to the 22nd-24th. Buddhist century. The surrounding area has been found as well several Lan Chang arts, bronze Buddha images-amulets, relic and unknown and uncleared history Buddha images-amulets. Phra That Phon Thong is sacred place for local communities and has been highly, faithfully worshipping.
